Welcome to Z-Machine Productions. We specialize in original documentaries.

Z-Machine was born of a shared passion for life’s mysteries and the gray areas of information that comprise those mysteries. Husband-and-wife team, Jeff and Jess Finn, launched Z-Machine (initially known as Docufology) in 2010. Jeff is a writer and researcher. Jess is a new media specialist and web designer. Together, they are independent filmmakers.

Z-Machine is proud to offer its flagship documentary feature, Strange Septembers: the Hill Abduction & the Exeter Encounter. The film, in association with Secret Handshake, will have its premiere at the 2011 Exeter UFO Festival.
